The Bay of Fires Winter Arts Festival has been the premier arts event in the North East of Tasmania for a number of years. After the 2018 festival the committee realised that it was time to do things differently, We spoke to at+m integrated marketing in Launceston to ascertain what they could do for us.
After just one meeting we decided that at+m was just what we needed to assist us to promote the festival in different ways. The first step was the development of a new web site. The initial focus was on the Bay of Fires Arts Prize, followed by the promotion of many other aspects of the festival. Our new web site has attracted broad acclaim. at+m also guided the committee in harnessing the power of social media to increase awareness and interest in the festival.
The Bay of Fires Winter Arts Festival Committee is delighted with the outcomes from the relationship we have established with at+m integrated marketing. They have helped us to greatly improve the productivity of committee members and we have no doubt that we are destined to have one of our best ever Winter Arts Festivals.
The Glover committee attempted to reinvigorate our social media but due to lack of resources and not fully appreciating the power of Social Media we were not entirely successful.
We approached several digital agencies to assist us and at+m stood out as they took the time to understand our problems before jumping straight to solutions.
They formulated strategy with a set goals, developed the content calendar and determined the best platforms to engage with our local audience
The content was then tailored to engage with the target audience and to lift the profile of the Glover Prize. It was all extremely successful with record attendance numbers plus a huge lift in followers and interaction on our social media platforms and website.
With the introduction of a competitive market place we needed a thoughtful rebranding exercise that would preserve our widely respected charity status but at the same time balance it against a strong competitive image. To do this we needed someone who was willing to understand what had made us tick since the 1930s and what the new dynamics we faced under the NDIS were.
By undertaking a Brand Audit, being prepared to engage with our staff and being willing to listen, the team at at+m marketing displayed an extraordinary desire to get to know us first before developing the appropriate strategy.
The end result was an image that we are all very proud of and three members of the at+m marketing team that knew us so well that I could have offered any of them a job.
Ben Lovitt successfully lead the at+m marketing team to develop a quality online, 26TEN Chat resource and suite of promotional materials, impressing us with his fresh, creative approach to the briefing. It was clear from the start that we were valued as a client of at+m marketing because of how well we were treated. Ben’s energy, optimistic approach and obvious dedication to the project showed us that he was just as passionate about helping Tasmanians improve their literacy and numeracy as we are!
