Freycinet Coast Tourism Board, Totally South Tourism

The project soon evolved into a fully fledged integrated marketing campaign, incorporating new branding, a new look website, communication material, advertising and a direct mail piece to the region’s tourist operators.
As a starting point our creative team presented a choice of brand concepts to the Tourism Board. Following this, a logo was developed that formed the backbone to the visual identity of the brand. The brand was implemented via ground breaking work on a new look Freycinet Coast website www.freycinetcoast.com.au, posters, postcards, branding advertisements for press and cooperative marketing materials for the region’s operators.
The official launch of the new brand took place at the exclusive Avalon Resort on Tasmania’s East Coast, where representatives from Totally South Tourism presented the campaign to delegates, representatives from Tourism Tasmania, and operators from the region.
Coinciding with the direct mail out, the number of unique visitors per week to the website significantly increased. Currently the site is attracting 1000 unique views per week. This figure is expected to grow as promotion of the brand continues.
The design concepts have been described as ‘sexy’ and suited the direction of the Board perfectly.
