At The Moment Newsletter:
March 2009
In a downturn, even the most successful businesses are tempted to cut marketing and promotion. To talk about consolidation, not expansion, as business gets tougher. However, smart entrepreneurs know that most of their competitors were not in business during the last recession and are therefore inexperienced.
They know now is the time to gain an edge by being more aggressive with their advertising, finding new staff, investing in new technology and making acquisitions.
So hopefully in our latest newsletter you will find a tip to keep you ahead in a downturn.
Regards,
David Peck

The seminars are planned for early May 2009 and flow on from the "Business Readiness for an Economic Downturn" being held by WHK Total Business Solutions.
This years seminar is "5 Practical Ways to Market Your Business in Harsh Economic Times". The seminar will provide simple and effective methods for promoting your business and improving sales, and is applicable to any type of business or industry.
The topics to be covered are:
- How to make the most of your customers
- Stand-out from the crowd in advertising
- Zig when the rest zag
- How to let your staff build your business
- Smart & targeted promotional strategies
The seminar will also 'workshop' how to apply these methods to your specific operation.
As part of the seminar package we will be providing software tools for generating and implementing your business plan. These tools include: DIY Marketing Plan, 'Opportunity Search - creativity generator', Profit Calculator and Financial Year Action Planner.
As regional operators ourselves we appreciate how little support is given to rural areas. For this reason we are holding the seminars in regional hubs around the state. Seminars will be held in Devonport, Launceston, St Helens, Glenorchy and Kingston.
If you would like to be part of this valuable offer, register your interest by calling Karen on 6334 3577.
